UBC winds up
The efforts of Bob Wolowich to keep his floundering two-year-old Toronto agency, United Business Communications, afloat have ended.
Wolowich is now closing United Business, or ubc, rather than operate under that name.
Wolowich, United Business' director of creative services, says his plans are now uncertain because he believes the name has been tainted by earlier rumors and reports of its closure.
"If you owed money to a company reported as closed, would you pay it?" asks Wolowich.
ubc has suffered in the last couple of months, losing a number of major clients and key staff members. PS
